Marek Stave is a filmmaker and visual artist based in Oslo whose practice interlaces emotion, image, and sound into lyrical explorations of identity and perception. Drawing from youth culture, poetic form, and the sensibilities of theatre, his films magnify what lies beneath the visible \u2014 the subtle tensions between self, society, and the unseen.<\/p>\n
Marek studied film directing at UCLA in 2019 under Navid Sinaki and participated in master critique classes with James Benning at the California Institute of the Arts.
